The MC74HC253N is identical in pinout to the LS253. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pullup resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs. The Address inputs select one of four Data inputs from each multiplexer. Each multiplexer has an active?low Output Enable control and a three?state noninverting output. The MC74HC253N is similar in function to the HC153 which does not have three?state outputs.
